Iran expresses pleasure over rescuing Thai teens trapped in flooded cave

TEHRAN, Jul. 13 (MNA) – Iranian Foreign Ministry Spokesman Bahram Ghasemi congratulated the Thai government on the successful saving of 12 Thai teens who were trapped in Tham Luang cave a couple of days ago.

In a message to senior officials of Thai Foreign Ministry on the behalf of Iranian government, Ghasemi said, “Iranian government and people along with the people of Thailand were also concerned about the fate of these teenagers who were trapped in a flooded cave in this country. We were closely following up the news worryingly."

“we thank the Almighty God who bestowed teenagers and their parents again the blessings of living together. We also pray for courageous behavior of Thai Special Navy commander who lost his life to save these teenagers.”

All of the 12 Thai boys along with their coach who became stranded inside a flooded cave network 3 weeks ago were rescued on Wednesday.
